THE ORIGIN • 2001–2002
When the RSX platform was brand new, Francisco owned one and spent time at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in Englishtown, New Jersey.
The black RSX appeared on an Import High Tech flyer for the Import Survival Series. The framed flyer survived. Midnight Auto NJ is where the story starts again.
One build. Twenty-five years in the making.
CURRENT CONFIGURATION
King XP/XPC bearings, ARP studs, Cometic MLS gasket and refreshed timing.
35 mm intake, 30 mm exhaust, dual springs and titanium retainers.
CEA journal bearing, T3 inlet, 0.82 A/R and V-band discharge.
Jack Spania T3 manifold, 3-inch downpipe and Rev9 60 mm wastegate.
05–06 conversion with PND ECU core and KManager calibration.
-4AN feed, -10AN gravity drain, thermal sleeve and volcanic wrap.
BUILD JOURNAL
A broken valve was found during teardown.
The head was cleaned, resurfaced and the broken valve replaced.
Valves, seals, springs, titanium retainers and keepers installed by hand.
The PRB head is ready for the rocker assembly, cams and long block.
